Company History

Founded in April of 1996, Vie Construction is a multi-service custom home building company. It was established by the Neighbor family: Glenn, Sr. and Wife Kathleen and Glenn, Jr. and Wife Stephanie. Glenn, Sr. and Kathleen reside in New Jersey where they continue to operate Neighbor & Groves Builders, a reputable custom home builder on the Jersey shore since 1976. Glenn, Jr. is a NC licensed General Contractor who manages company operations and is assisted by Stephanie and 13 employees.

Vie Construction specializes in fine custom homes, renovations, and restoration. From purchase to planning and through the construction and maintenance of your home, Vie offers many services to cater to virtually every need of our clients:

• Maintenance & maintenance plans
• Hurricane preparation

Our company is also licensed commercially. Vie is an excellent choice for specialty commercial projects that might include restaurants, offices, and retail spaces.

Cape Fear Homebuilders Association has recognized our dedication to excellence on several occasions. They awarded vie the Gold Award in 1995 and Silver Award in 2000 and 2001 for our entries in the annual “Parade of Homes” event. Further, Vie Construction was ranked as the fifth fastest growing home builder in the nation, according to a survey in September 2000 Builder magazine.

Vie has completed several custom projects, speculative homes, and renovations in New Hanover, Pender and Brunswick counties; as well as Wrightsville Beach and Carolina Beach and Figure Eight Island.
